I was born in South Africa and have spent much of my adult life exploring what it means to build a meaningful life.
Over the last three decades, I have lived and worked across South Africa, Germany, Austria, China, Hungary, India, and Mexico. Each country challenged me in different ways. Each culture expanded my perspective. Each chapter taught me something about people, purpose, and the art of starting over.

What Seven Countries Taught Me
Starting over in a new country is not only a change of address. It is a change in language, identity, assumptions, habits, and the way you understand people.
Germany taught me perspective.
I arrived thinking I was there to learn engineering. What I did not expect was a classroom filled with students from Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Uganda, Japan, China, Turkey, the United States, and other places. It taught me that what feels normal in one culture may be completely foreign in another.
China taught me patience.
In meetings, I learned that communication is not only about exchanging information quickly. It is about creating shared understanding, adding context, honoring relationships, and making sure people arrive together.
India taught me to ask better questions.
India challenged the engineer in me. It showed me a world where spirituality, ritual, work, family, and meaning were woven into daily life. I did not leave India with all the answers, but I left with better questions.
Mexico taught me what home can become.
Mexico became the place where I married, became a father later in life, and began thinking differently about time, success, memories, and legacy.
Life is not about arriving somewhere. It is about becoming someone. Every country changed me a little. Every culture expanded my perspective. Every reinvention taught me that we are far more capable of change than we believe.
Work
Engineer, Builder, Craftsman
Professionally, I am a Chemical Engineer and a specialist in automotive leather manufacturing. Throughout my career, I have worked across industries, cultures, and continents, helping create products, solve problems, build businesses, and lead teams.
But life is not only about work. Along the way, I have been an entrepreneur, a craftsman, a painter, a traveler, and perhaps most importantly, a lifelong student of human nature.
The common thread has always been creation: turning raw material into something useful, whether that material is leather, paint, business experience, language, memory, or a difficult life transition.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming belongs on this site because Creator of Dreams is not only about what a man builds. It is also about the inner structure that makes building possible again.

The words a man uses about himself often reveal the future he believes is still available.

Creator Of Dreams
A few years ago, while living in India, I attended a retreat in Jaipur, Rajasthan that quietly changed the direction of my life. During that experience, I reconnected with something many of us lose as we get older: curiosity, creativity, and the ability to dream.
The phrase Creator of Dreams emerged from that experience. Not because dreams magically come true, but because dreams are created through courage, learning, adaptation, and action.
Today I live in Mexico with my wife and young daughter. Becoming a father later in life gave me a completely different perspective on success, purpose, and legacy.
At fifty-seven, with a daughter approaching six, time feels different. The afternoons matter. The conversations matter. The memories matter. Success becomes less about what you accumulate and more about what you help create in the people you love.
